Andrea Vianelli is an accomplished financial services executive, who currently serves as COO for the Asset Management division of Laser Digital – the digital assets arm of Nomura Group

Andrea started his career as a financial regulation and structuring lawyer, having structured/advised on the launch of more than 30 regulated funds and several investment firms before moving in-house as Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for a boutique asset management firm. Andrea's multifaceted career has also seen him lead international regulatory expansion projects as well as fund tokenization at Sygnum Bank, the world’s first digital asset bank. He has supported institutional and crypto native firms in their regulatory strategy, market access as well as target operating model development across multiple jurisdictions (including Switzerland, UAE, UK, EU and offshore jurisdictions).

In his role at Laser Digital, Andrea leads the lifecycle of the firm’s diverse digital asset funds, tokenization initiatives pursued through KAIO (Laser Digital’s tokenization platform incubated with WebN) and advises on all structuring initiatives across the group.

Andrea holds a JD from the University of Padova and an LL.M. (Distinction) in Law and Economics from the University of London (QMUL). He is also pursuing a PhD in Financial Regulation at the University of Zurich.
